PJ59 is for Paul and Joyce, 1959, the year we were married. Yes, we are old fashioned. What
would you expect? We grew up under the false pretense that the the
United states government was run "by the people and for the people".
Well, fifty years has proven that to be a falsehood.
But, in spite of that, we remain happy and as close as we ever were when we were kids in high school. We are very blessed and fortunate, but all is not bliss. There are many things with which we disagree. On the other hand, there are many good things today.
In disagreement with what the media today is brainwashing young people into believing, those were pretty good years. Yes, there were wrongs. Black people and Indians were treated very badly. But, so were other nationalities and races. And, contrary the media would have you believe, everybody did not agree with it. If you weren't rich, you had to work for a living and there weren't any free rides.
In spite of those things, though, the family unit was very strong and morals, overall, were much higher than today.
Through this website and our blog, we will probably touch on a wide variety of issues. One purpose of it is to offer some comparisons and to point out some things that are just plain wrong and some things that are right on.
