Joyce came up with what I think is a really good idea. She suggested that we do a memorial website as a place where there could be a lasting memorial to loved ones who have passed on.

   We talked about doing something that is tasteful and reverent without annoying pop-ups and advertisements. A site that will depict a description of a person’s life and their activities and beliefs, with at least one good photo and important dates and places.

   I started working on the project. I decided to do a memorial to my father, Angell Allen, and to a very good friend, Larry Obsitnik, who was the chief photographer for the Arkansas Gazette. I think that we have gotten off to a pretty good start and we invite you to look at it.

  You can see what we have done so far at our Memorial Garden. To demonstrate an example, we included some very interesting history about my father and his contributions to the war effort during World War II.
